Overview

This is your chance to take part in the development of the Building Regulations. DCLG (Department for Communities and Local   Government) is using this event to present proposed changes and to take feedback from those working in the industry.

You should attend this conference if you’re interested in the future content of the Building Regulations and having your opinions heard, it will also be your opportunity to plan how your business will react when the new regulations are introduced.

After presentations from DCLG, the conference will move into important related areas for building businesses.

Part L will be examined from the point of view existing buildings and improvements likely to be covered by the ‘Green Deal.’

Then there will be an examination of how training for site operatives can have a significant impact on the ‘Performance Gap.’

Finally, LABC Consult will show how joined-up services from initial design through to testing, also improves overall outcomes in performance and cost.

Networking opportunities will be provided including access to the DCLG team and there will be a busy exhibition of product and service suppliers for you to browse during registration, at lunch and after the close.
