Domestic Water Usage Calculations
On the 6th April 2010 Part G of the Building Regulations was amended to include limits on water use for all new homes and dwellings formed by conversion.
Building Control now requires water efficiency calculations at design stage to show that water use is limited to no more than 125 litres of water per person, per day this includes water usage from WC's, wash hand basins, sinks, showers, baths and white goods such as dishwashers and washing machines.
We can provide water usage calculations to support Building Regulation applications for new dwellings. We can provide you with either a simple performance specification or a more detailed report itemising the make and model of water fittings and appliances.
