LABC Training is the groundbreaking industry training initiative with the mission to develop knowledge, skills and people on both the inspection and customer sides of the business.

This covers a wide range of job roles. In local authorities it includes: admin staff, technical support, trainees, building control officers and surveyors, team leaders, senior and principal officers, marketing officers, and managers.

Customers can include anyone who needs a better understanding of the Building Regulations and building control. This includes:  builders, trades people, developers, architects, building engineers, people who draw plans, technical directors, manufacturers, and other professionals in the building industry.

Other training

LABC Training offers bespoke courses, or in-house (in-company) training courses. These can be on specialist technical areas, or can use elements from our existing courses to run on a private in-house basis. We will tailor training for large companies and PLCs either in one place or around regional centres. Within LABC, we can schedule additional dates and events if requested by counties or LABC Regions.

Consistent high quality

All our courses are devised and run by a very experienced team of building control professionals with a vast amount of training experience. To ensure consistency, our team shares the same material and attends 'trainer training' so that we know the same learning is communicated to the same level at all of our events.

Reservations

All training has to be paid for in advance. Please use the Course Reservation Form, which will enable you to hold a place for 10 working days until payment is received by LABC. Upon payment the course reservation will be confirmed and joining instructions will be sent to the delegate.

Feedback and additional trainers

I am always looking for experienced people who want to train or develop course content.
