These are solutions offered by manufacturers and installers to "typical" problems or requirements, usually arising from Building Regulations. They may be simple or complicated and are usually solved by an innovative manufactured solution.

However, because building designs are often unique and affected by site specific factors, solutions can't be applied universally.

Therefore, LABC surveyors can download a full explanation of the "problem/solution," obtain all the relevant supporting technical information ( eg lab test data, field test data, certification etc) and obtain a "checklist" of issues that need to be verified on each particular site or project.

This list provides items that need to be established during the plan check and site visits and covers issues such as construction sequencing and typical workmanship issues.
