This course is for anyone with responsibility as a building owner or building manager, or working on new or refurbishment building projects as an architect, developer, building engineer, project manager, procurement specifier or supplier/sub-contractor.

Course Objectives

  • This course will clarify your legal responsibilities in the areas of passive and active fire protection encompassing strategy, building design and engineering, materials and sub-contractor procurement, competency assessment, installer management and occupier briefing and management.

  • The course covers all the key project tasks in designing, building and managing a building that is compliant and explains what the responsibilities of professionals are in each phase or activity.

Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

LABC will provide CPD certificates on request after the course has been completed.
