This course is an essential overview course for anyone working in building control administration or technical support and for professional staff requiring an induction or refresher in processes, documentation and good practice.
Course Objectives
To improve delegates' knowledge and understanding of the administrative functions and tasks in Building Control.
To create an understanding of how administrative processes interface with surveying duties, including an understanding of the professional and ethical responsibilities of surveyors representing local authorities.
Learning Outcomes
Raised confidence in answering questions from customers and property owners. A clear understanding of the function and tasks, and who does what. A clear overview of performance management and how administrative officers add value to their teams and help to win and retain customers.
