LABC Trainers
Tim Parrett
Tim is a Member of the Association of Building Engineers and Member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors and holds a Diploma in Building Surveying from College of Estate Management.
Tim started his Building Control career at Shepway District Council and moved to Ashford in 1986. He was appointed as Head of Building Control in 2000 and has since then been chairman of Kent Building Control Managers and is currently chair of the South East Region of Local Authority Building Control (LABC). He is also the current chair of the training working group and is keen to see LABC training develop into the main training provider for building control.
Tim has lectured at South Kent College and Mid Kent College and regularly presents Continual Professional Development (CPD) seminars to private companies, the CIOB and other professional bodies.
